For all of our clients who are a fan of everything luxury, we have put together a little itinerary which is ideal for people who want to take their travel to Bangladesh to a different level such as couples who are looking for a romantic week in a unique off the beaten path destination.

Bangladesh doesn’t always comes up in your mind when you’re thinking about fancy holidays in luxury hotels and posh restaurant and yes, we need to admit that there is still a long way to go, but there is some improvement gradually happening and we’ve put together a nice little itinerary of a few nice destinations all over the country in which we’ll give you the chance to get to know this little gem in our comfortable tour. We have selected which we believe are the best hotels and also use our best vehicles and even offer you the possibility of taking a helicopter tour above the delta, which is probably one of the most exciting things to do in the Indian subcontinent.

The starting point of the trip is of course the capital Dhaka, a dizzying cauldron full of energy and activity. Every day, about half a million brightly painted bicycle rickshaws move like colorful waves through an endless sea of traffic.

To the southeast, take a helicopter flight over the mighty mangroves of the delta and cruise through the beautiful mangroves and swamps of the Sundarbans in search of the Bengal tiger and other wildlife.

One of Bangladesh’s most picturesque landscapes are the tea-covered hills at Srimangal, in the sparsely populated corner of the country’s northeast. Besides tea plantations, you will also find the oldest and most accessible semi-tropical forests of Bangladesh in this area, where you can enjoy the silence of nature.

Travel via cosmopolitan Chittagong, the country’s busiest port city, to the most fascinating region of Bangladesh, both scenically and culturally: the Chittagong Hill Tracts. In this forested mountain area that stretches along the Burmese border, tribes like the Chakma and Marma still lead a life of their own, separate from the laws and regulations of the rest of the country. For a long time, this special, predominantly Buddhist area was closed to tourism, but for a few years now, visitors have been slowly admitted. Charming Rangamati is the main town of the region and is situated on a number of small islands in the picturesque Kaptai Lake. A boat trip to the tribal villages on the tropical green shores of this lake is an undisputed highlight of your visit, especially on market days.

The Sundarbans is the world’s largest mangrove forest. The Sundarbans even has the highest tiger density of any national park in the world. Nearly 10% of the tigers living in the wild live in the Sundarbans, where they are notorious for regularly devouring people who live here! The Sundarbans National Park covers 10,000 square kilometers of land and water in the Ganges delta. More than half of this area is in India, the rest in Bangladesh. Located at the mouth of the Ganges and Brahmaputra rivers between India and Bangladesh, the mangrove forests and waterways provide a wide range of fauna, including some endangered species. The habitat contains the largest population of tigers in the world, which have adapted to an almost amphibious life. The (Bengal) tigers are able to swim long distances and eat fish, crab and water monitors. In addition to tigers, there are more than 300 bird species, otters, monkeys, crocodiles, deer, boars and river dolphins. Along the way during the boat trip we can get off several times and take walks.

For our trip we’ll head out very early in the morning from Dhaka by helicopter, the best way to see the mighty delta from the air. From there you’ll see nothing but mangrove forest, penetrated by thousands of rivers, streams and side-arms. After this amazing aerial spectacle, we’ll change our helicopter for a boat to go deep into the Sundarbans in the search for tigers! Enjoy the tranquility and peace of this magnificent place and enjoy being in one of the most beautiful, yet least known wild destinations in the Indian subcontinent. Srimangal is an area made up of green tea plantations, it is the wonderland of the Sylhet region. Tourism has been boosted in Srimangal as a former tea plantation owner decided to turn to domestic tourism after crops failed. The owner developed a special type of tea: ‘Seven layer tea’, a cup of tea with seven different layers of tea on top of each other. Quite unique and something that made more Bengalis come to Srimangal for a few days of vacation. Today, Srimangal is a real tourist hotspot for the wealthy Bengali population. Not only due to the ‘Seven layer tea’, but because of the green tea fields, wild waterfalls and untouched nature.
